The bill (Reg. No.2034) amends the Law "On Telecommunications". According to the amendment, the license for a type of activity in the sphere of telecommunications shall be re-registered due to the introduction of new standards and/or radio technologies in conformity to the Law "On the Radio Frequency Resource of Ukraine." It also envisages a possibility of amending the specific terms of the license. Pursuant to the bill, in these cases the re-registered license shall be issued simultaneously with the license for the use of a radio frequency resource. The bill amends the Law "On the Radio Frequency Resource of Ukraine" regarding scrutiny of the documents and issue of licenses for the use of a radio frequency resource.
The Committee members uphold the bill, as its adoption will alleviate access of the telecommunication operators to the market of telecommunication services.
